This guidelines provides an introduction to smart home technology and its use as part of the municipal services. The objective is to enable the reader to independently consider his needs and to participate in making specifications meeting these needs. Hence we aim at giving inputs to the practical work on planning, installing and managing smart home technology.
The target groups for the guidelines include those participating in planning, installing and management of smart home technology for elderly and disabled people. This includes staff in technical departments, IT-departments, nursing and care departments, decision-making authorities on municipal level as well as users of smart home technology.
